Job Title: Assessment Clinician

Overview:

Aspire Indiana Health is a nonprofit provider of comprehensive whole health services, including primary medical care, behavioral health, recovery services, and programs addressing the social determinants of health. We serve individuals of all ages and walks of life in five Central Indiana counties.

Position Summary:

The Assessment Clinician will perform clinical evaluations, construct treatment plans, and provide brief, targeted behavioral interventions to individuals presenting with mental health, behavioral health, and/or substance use issues. This role will promote integrated care by educating those we serve on the importance of the interaction between their physical and mental health.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct clinical evaluations and construct treatment plans for individuals with mental health, behavioral health, and/or substance use issues.
  • Provide brief, targeted behavioral interventions to promote positive behavioral change.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of community resources, social service systems, and legal systems.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or other mental health field from a college/university accredited by the US Department of Education.
  • Two years' experience in a clinical setting working with diverse populations.
  • Excellent diagnostic and treatment planning skills.
  • Brief, targeted behavioral intervention and substance use evaluation experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of social service systems, community resources, legal systems, and child welfare systems highly preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple personalities in various situations.
  • Valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and a driving record that meets organizational guidelines and requirements.
  • Reliable transportation to transport self and/or others and to travel within the community.

Licensure:

  • Must be license eligible (LSW, LMHCA, LMFTA) by the State of Indiana and actively pursuing licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) by the State of Indiana.
  • Recognized as a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor (LCAC) a plus.
