Software Quality Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Quality Operations Manager to join our dynamic team at Clarivate.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the QA team to ensure the highest quality standards for our software products.

This role requires a deep understanding of software development processes, testing methodologies, and quality assurance best practices.

The Software Quality Operations Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and customer support, to identify and resolve quality issues, implement process improvements, and ensure that our software products meet or exceed customer expectations.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing QA teams, developing and executing test plans, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

This role also involves mentoring and developing team members, setting performance goals, and ensuring that the QA team is aligned with the overall business objectives.

The Software Quality Operations Manager will be responsible for defining and implementing QA metrics, reporting on the quality of our software products, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

About You

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 7-10 years in quality assurance
  • Minimum 5 years in leadership/management
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
  • Proven track record of managing QA teams and projects

What You Will Be Doing

  • Ensure high-quality software products
  • Develop and implement QA processes and best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues
  • Create and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Monitor and report on the quality of software products
  • Define and implement QA metrics and KPIs
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team
  • Coordinate with development and product management teams to ensure alignment
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest QA tools and technologies

Hours of Work

This position can be performed remote or near any of Clarivate's US offices. Full-time, permanent, working regular business hours EST.
