Job Overview

Bilingual Therapies is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to work with K-2 students with complex needs in our self-contained program. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of experience working with students who require tailored instruction and support.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $65,000 per year, based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package including dental, medical, vision, and 401K.

Job Description

The successful candidate will teach and support students in a K-2 self-contained classroom, developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) that cater to the unique needs of each student.

Responsibilities
  • Teach and support students in a self-contained K-2 classroom
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide tailored instruction for students with autism, intellectual disabilities, and communication needs
  • Collaborate with families, staff, and specialists to ensure student progress
  • Use strategies to manage behaviors and enhance social skills
Qualifications
  • Washington State Special Education certificate required
  • Experience working with students with complex needs, such as autism and intellectual disabilities
  • Ability to work on-site, Monday through Friday
  • Strong understanding of IEPs and behavior management techniques

  • Hours per Week: Full-Time (7.5 hours per day, 5 days a week)
