At Serco, we are seeking a Security Operations Supervisor to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will ensure a visible security presence across all operational areas, delivering courteous, efficient, and compassionate service to all stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include conducting patient searches as necessary, adhering to established protocols, and utilizing the patient administration system. You will also handle general inquiries both over the phone and in person, directing them appropriately and professionally.

The Security Operations Supervisor will manage the issuance of keys, including vehicle access keys, to authorized personnel, oversee parking facilities, and verify driving licenses as needed. Additionally, you will ensure that all sign-in and sign-out logs are accurately maintained.

We are looking for a candidate with experience in a corporate security environment, possessing the resilience to address a variety of challenges, including providing initial responses to potentially violent situations and, when necessary, escorting individuals off-site to maintain a secure environment.

Other essential duties will involve monitoring security systems from the control room and alerting team members to any situations that may arise (CCTV monitoring).

Qualifications Required:

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar security role and a genuine desire to assist others. Given the dynamic nature of hospital environments, strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and empathy are essential.

The successful applicant must possess a valid door supervisor badge (SIA license), preferably with CCTV certification.
