About the Position

We are seeking a highly qualified faculty member to join our Business Analytics program at Calvin University. As a tenure-track faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in business analytics, developing curriculum, and engaging in research and scholarship.

Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in business analytics, including data analysis, machine learning, and data visualization
  • Develop and maintain curriculum in business analytics, ensuring alignment with industry needs and academic standards
  • Engage in research and scholarship in business analytics, publishing in top-tier journals and presenting at conferences

Requirements

We seek candidates with a PhD or terminal degree in business analytics, information systems, data science, or a related field. Preference will be given to candidates with:

  • Practical experience in business, including data analysis and machine learning
  • Strong networks in the business community, including industry partnerships and collaborations
  • A commitment to experiential learning, including internships and project-based courses
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching, including course design and delivery
  • Demonstrated potential for research and publication, including peer-reviewed articles and conference presentations
