Lead Bartender

About the Position:

Allora is seeking a skilled Lead Bartender to join our Service team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional hospitality and beverage expertise to our guests.

The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and beverage selections, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include creating a welcoming atmosphere, maintaining a high level of food and menu knowledge, and supporting the team on the floor. The Lead Bartender will also work closely with the management team to create our cocktail menu.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Create a welcoming and hospitable environment for all guests at the bar.
• Demonstrate sound knowledge of specialty and classic cocktails, wine, beer, and beverage offerings.
• Maintain fluency in all menu items and ingredients with the ability to suggest beverage pairings.
• Follows proper steps of service with grace, while maintaining a sense of urgency throughout service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including the seating area.
• Communicates effectively with staff members, management, and the kitchen during service.

Education and Experience:

Two or more years' experience as a Bartender or beverage service role, experience in a fast-paced restaurant bar or bar environment is a plus.

Passion for wine, spirits, beer, and N/A beverages.

Ability to walk up and down stairs.

Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time.

Ability to balance & carry multiple plates, glass racks and or/glasses, and lift objects up to 30 lbs.
