Position Overview:
As a Radiology Technologist at Banner University Medical Center - Phoenix, you will thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, utilizing cutting-edge digital imaging technology to conduct over 350 examinations daily. Our department caters to a diverse patient population, including inpatients, outpatients, and those visiting specialized clinics.

Position Responsibilities:
This role involves executing prescribed radiographic procedures in alignment with departmental policies and protocols, ensuring optimal care for patients. Key functions include:
  1. Conducting radiographic procedures and analyses following departmental standards, applying independent judgment and established methodologies.
  2. Educating patients and their families about procedures, associated risks, and preventive measures, while demonstrating professionalism in all interactions.
  3. Producing high-quality images and compiling them with relevant patient information for prompt interpretation.
  4. Performing quality control assessments on equipment and troubleshooting issues to maintain optimal performance.
  5. Upholding ethical, legal, and professional standards in radiology practice, including confidentiality of all information.
  6. Ensuring smooth departmental operations by managing inventory and performing additional assigned duties.
  7. Collaborating with interdisciplinary health care teams to provide comprehensive patient care.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Certificate or diploma from an accredited Radiology program.
- National certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and applicable state licensure.
- BLS certification is mandatory.
- Clinical knowledge typically acquired through one year of experience.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional related education and experience are advantageous.
