Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team. As a Physician Assistant, you will play a critical role in providing medical care to patients and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of various conditions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
  • Order and evaluate diagnostic tests as needed, recommend treatment options, and refer patients to specialists when necessary.
  • Document patient information, clinical assessments, and treatment decisions using electronic health records.

Requirements

  • A current unencumbered license to practice as a Physician Assistant in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
  • Citizenship of the United States.
  • Current certification in VHA-approved Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association.
  • Primary Care Physician Assistants must have an active certification in the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and at least 5 years of experience within the last five years.

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
