Job Summary:

As a CT Technologist at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, you will utilize computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes. You will work closely with physicians to interpret scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT scan equipment to capture accurate images.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret physician scanning instructions and administer contrast materials as needed
  • Operate CT scan equipment and position patients to capture high-quality images
  • Provide basic patient care and ensure a safe and comfortable environment
  • Submit accurate and timely imaging, patient history documentation, and case charges
  • Support department initiatives related to patient and employee satisfaction
  • Perform quality assurance audits and activities to ensure high-quality imaging
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology
  • One year of work experience as a CT Technologist preferred
  • American Registry of Radiology Technologist (ARRT) certification required
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Certification required
  • State of Washington Registration as a Radiologic Technologist
