Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist - Limited License to join our team at UnitedHealth Group. As a key member of our Behavioral Health team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health services to our patients.
About the Role:
As a Clinical Psychologist - Limited License, you will be responsible for conducting psychological assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing individual, group, and family therapy to patients. You will also lead crisis intervention methods and provide insight into the development of functional assessments and behavioral intervention plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results to inform treatment plans
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals and objectives
- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy services to patients, including individual, group, and family therapy
- Lead crisis intervention methods and provide support to patients in crisis
- Collaborate with internal and external providers to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology
- Active Limited License in Psychology in Michigan
- Ability to provide a minimum of 15 scheduled visits per week
- Flexibility to work some evening sessions and Saturday appointments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with a wide range of clinical presentations
- Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families
- Strong computer and basic technology skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
