Key Responsibilities of the Store Manager:

  • Lead the Inside/Counter Sales team and the Account Manager/Outside Sales team while fostering and sustaining essential customer relationships
  • Establish and convey financial and operational performance objectives for the store
  • Guide and mentor associates by collaborating with Human Resources on organizational structure, talent management, and employee relations
  • Work with Talent Acquisition to formulate recruitment strategies addressing both external and internal hiring needs
  • Consult with the Regional Manager on matters concerning store operations
  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to create short-term and long-term sales forecasts for the Account Manager/Outside Sales team
  • Ensure the completion of daily, weekly, and monthly financial obligations; adhere to month-end closing and cutoff requirements
  • Guarantee compliance with safety and vehicle policies
  • Implement regional and corporate change initiatives, including the introduction of new systems, compensation plans, and other policies and procedures
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all product lines
  • Oversee financial operations, including inventory management and the collection and distribution of funds

Ideal Candidates for the Store Manager Position Will Possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of management experience, including full P&L responsibilities, inventory oversight, and personnel management
  • At least 2 years of experience in Operations and/or Sales
  • Expertise in the heavy-duty industry, particularly with heavy-duty truck and trailer parts and/or service repair
  • Capability to operate power industrial equipment, such as forklifts
