Key Responsibilities- Perform and analyze laboratory tests, including transfusion service, chemistry, coagulation, hematology, microbiology, immunology, toxicology, and urinalysis.
- Process and document patient samples, ensuring accuracy and quality control.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment, adhering to strict safety and regulatory standards.
- Exercise independent judgment to monitor test conditions, specimen quality, and instrument function, identifying atypical organisms and solving unexpected problems.
- Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or life science from an accredited college/university.
- Relevant generalist clinical laboratory experience within the last five years or a Bachelor's degree in laboratory medical technology with clinical rotation.
- National MT certification with ASCP, AMT, or Certification with the US Department of Health and Human Services as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
