Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate strong communication skills.
  • Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.
  • Compose routine reports and correspondence.
  • Perform basic mathematical operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Calculate rates, ratios, and percentages, and interpret graphical data.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and OSHA safety regulations.
  • Verify and package products for distribution, including shrink wrapping and labeling.
  • Stage products for loading onto transport vehicles.
  • Unload materials from delivery trucks.
  • Move materials to storage areas within the warehouse.
  • Ensure quality control by preventing the shipment of damaged products.
  • Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT), including reach trucks and forklifts.
  • Maintain daily logs for PIT operations.
  • Clean and maintain work areas.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • A college degree with two or more years of relevant experience and/or training.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in operating PIT equipment; current certification is advantageous.
  • Manual dexterity is required for operating machinery and handling small components.
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 30 pounds.

Work Environment:

  • Flexibility to work varied hours as needed.
  • Capability to participate in mandatory physical inventory.
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
  • Willingness to work in dusty conditions.
