We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN specializing in Cardiovascular Care to join our team at the Providence Swedish Cherry Hill Campus. This role requires a dedicated professional with extensive experience in critical care settings.
Certification Requirements- Mandatory certifications: ACLS, BCLS, and CRRT Prismaflex
- Essential skills include: IABP and experience with fresh open heart surgeries
- Staffing ratio is 1:1-2
- This position is part of an AYA offer unit. Candidates must sign within 24 hours to secure the offer.
- The hiring manager will contact candidates post-signature and candidates will have 48 hours to decline after the interview.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience and travel experience is required to pass clinical review for an automatic offer.
- Compact licenses are accepted.
- Applicants must indicate their WA license status: Active, in Process, or None.
- If in process, please provide the application date and estimated issue date.
- Previous permanent employees of any Providence-affiliated facility must have been separated for at least 3 months to qualify for travel positions.
- All facilities honor active compact licenses.
- Flexibility for contracts of less than 26 weeks is available.
- First-time travelers are welcome, and applications can be submitted with a pending WA license.
Experience with patients suffering from Cardiovascular diseases, as well as pre/post Cath Lab and IR procedures, is essential, including fresh open heart surgeries.
Special Procedures- Experience with: CABG, OHS, AAA, Valvular Repairs, IABP, Impella, VADs, Pacemakers, and Epicardial Pacer Management
- Proficiency in CRRT/Dialysis, Hemodynamic Monitoring, and various breathing treatments
- Experience with Chest Tube Setup/Care, CPAP/BiPap, Trach Care, and Ventilation management
- Knowledge of Procedure Sedation, RSI, and Blood Products Administration
- Ability to perform Cardioversion/Defibrillation and 12 Lead EKG acquisition
- Patients typically diagnosed with Cardiovascular disease, pre/post Cath Lab and IR procedures, and fresh open heart surgeries.
- Special equipment includes: Heat removal, Vasopressors, and Balloon - Maquet Datascope
- Experience with CVVH/Prismaflex - CRRT is preferred; ECMO experience is not required for travelers.
- I9 attestation is required.
- Driver's License/State ID is mandatory.
- Social Security Card is required for specific state searches.
- E-Verify attestation is necessary.
- Subs: Aya E-Verify Attestation is required.
