About Dental Care at Lake Ingram

Dental Care at Lake Ingram is a brand new, state-of-the-art dental practice located in Winter Garden, Florida. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome patients, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience throughout their dental journey.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of patients' health histories to provide quality care.
  • Take and process x-rays, as well as other diagnostic assessments, using advanced technology such as the iTero 3D scanner and digital photography.
  • Provide exceptional chairside assistance to supported dentists during various procedures, adhering to the state dental practice act.
  • Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping, ensuring seamless office workflow.
  • Prepare treatment rooms with strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA & CDC recommendations.
  • Manage supply and inventory levels, placing and expediting orders as needed.
  • Partner with providers and team members to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office efficiency.

Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
  • Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification, if required under the state dental practice act.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
  • Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year.
