Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dishwasher at Keke's Breakfast Cafe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading, running, and unloading the dish machine efficiently to maintain productivity.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the dish room, equipment, and surrounding areas to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Monitoring the water temperature of the dish machine to guarantee a sanitary wash cycle and prevent contamination.
  • Cleaning and storing all tableware and kitchenware properly to prevent breakage and loss.
  • Maintaining adequate levels of clean tableware for the dining room and kitchen to meet customer demands.
  • Handling tableware carefully to prevent damage and ensure a smooth workflow.
Working Conditions:

The ideal candidate must be physically able to lift, reach, bend, and stoop throughout their shift. They should also be comfortable standing for extended periods (up to 8 hours) and safely lifting bags, cases, and stacks weighing up to 60 pounds multiple times per shift.

Requirements:
  • Availability from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm daily, including holidays, with flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • No prior restaurant experience is necessary, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential.
  • Full-time applicants are expected to consider Keke's Breakfast Cafe as their primary place of employment.
Compensation:

$15-$18 per hour, competitive in the industry and reflective of the candidate's value to the team.
