LRS Healthcare - Imaging is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join their team on a 13-week travel assignment in Washington, D.C.

Job Summary

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to work with a reputable healthcare organization, providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound examinations using advanced equipment and techniques to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient examinations, including images and reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest ultrasound technology and techniques through ongoing education and training.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and communication, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.
Requirements
  • Current certification as an Ultrasound Technologist (RDMS, RDCS, or RVT).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in ultrasound imaging, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on patient care and safety.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
