Dance Place is a culturally diverse and vibrant arts organization in Washington, DC. We are committed to providing high-quality performances, commissions, training, and educational programs that promote artistic expression and community engagement.
We are seeking a qualified Summer Camp Counselor to join our team for the summer of 2025. As a Summer Camp Counselor, you will be responsible for developing and implementing creative arts programs for children aged [insert age range]. Your primary focus will be on crafting engaging lesson plans, supervising campers, and fostering positive relationships with participants and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute daily lesson plans that meet the needs and abilities of campers
- Supervise and engage campers throughout daily activities
- Support positive communication with campers, families, and camp staff
- Assist with facilitating the Creative Arts Summer Camp Performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field
- Minimum 1-2 years of educational classroom experience
