Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled CT Technologist to join our team in Macon, GA. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing CT procedures following departmental protocols and standards. You will operate CT scanners and associated equipment with proficiency, examine requests and verify orders for each assigned patient, and interview patients to gather a complete medical history and review electronic medical records for pertinent information.

You will prepare and administer IV contrast according to departmental protocols, evaluate the technical quality of images and consult with a radiologist as needed, and inform appropriate medical staff of any changes in a patient's condition and assist during medical emergencies. You will also assist radiologists during invasive procedures, practicing proper sterile techniques, and adhere to radiation safety guidelines for self, employees, patients, and family members.

You will maintain work area in a neat and orderly manner and assist other medical personnel during exams or services. You will perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving patients, equipment, and supplies, and be prepared for occasional standing, walking, bending, squatting, or kneeling during daily operations. You will comply with infection control policies and procedures during all invasive procedures.
