Job Title: Computed Tomography Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and diagnostic imaging services.

Job Summary:

The Computed Tomography Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic CT examinations in accordance with prescribed standards and under the direct guidance of a supervising Radiologist. You will provide patient care to all age groups, including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic CT examinations in accordance with prescribed standards and under the direct guidance of a supervising Radiologist.
  • Provide patient care to all age groups, including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Operate CT scanners and other imaging equipment to produce high-quality images.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of patient examinations and imaging results.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, or advanced certification by ARRT in Computed Tomography (CT).
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R), or registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (CT) if less than one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced certification by ARRT in Computed Tomography (CT).
  • BLS certification.
  • Six months of experience as a CT Technologist.
