Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Survey Field Technician to join our team in Maine. The successful candidate will work with the Land Surveyor and Crew Chief to perform field surveying and calculations for solar PV projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field surveys for property boundaries, topography, GIS data collection, geodetic control, etc.
  • Provide construction staking for site layout, structures, grading, paving, roadways, drainage features, etc.
  • Locate boundary monuments and evidence of occupation.
  • Collect and process field data to produce topographic maps for civil design, perform boundary survey. Calculations in the field using Trimble data collection software.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years experience working on a survey crew or education in a surveying technology program.
  • Ability to work anywhere in the state of Maine with frequent overnight stays up to 3 nights a week.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record to drive company vehicle.

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
