Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Baptist Health Care. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality patient care and diagnostic imaging services.

• Perform interpretive, patient care, and technical functions to ensure proper radiologic diagnosis of patients.
• Contribute to the efficient operation of the department by performing imaging examinations in multiple settings.
• Provide exceptional customer service and interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure successful imaging needs.
• Assist in the care and maintenance of diagnostic radiology equipment and supplies.
• Set up and adjust diagnostic radiology equipment per radiologist protocol for exams.
• Operate complex radiographic equipment, selecting technical factors to ensure high-quality radiographs.
• Relies on extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology to obtain maximum diagnostic images.
• Receives and reviews requests for radiologic studies, accepts patients, and assesses their condition.
• Explains and prepares patients for radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Administers medications under the direction of a physician to render specific organs or systems more opaque.
• Performs various clerical duties and participates in training of department personnel.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Associates Degree in Radiology Required
• 6 months CT experience Preferred
• Certified Radiology Technologist Licensed State of Florida Upon Hire Required
• Registered Technologist (ARRT) Board Registry Upon Hire Required
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (BLS) American Heart Association within 90 Days Required
