Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to join our team at Fastmed. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for and performing radiologic procedures, as well as assisting with other medical support as required by our clinicians.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and perform x-rays within scope of practice
  • Practice patient shielding and ALARA standards
  • Keep an accurate log of exams performed, including documenting LMP and shielding
  • Verify condition of network and x-ray server
  • Clean cassettes, table, and chest board after each procedure
  • Perform additional front and back-office duties as required by the daily operations of the clinic
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent and one of the following licenses: License for Radiologic Technologists (RT), License for Practical Radiologic Technicians (PTR) – ARIZONA ONLY, Limited Medical Radiologic Technologists (LMRT) – TEXAS ONLY, Non-Certified Technician (NCT) – TEXAS ONLY, or Basic Machine Operator (BMO) – FLORIDA ONLY
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
