Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Love's Travel Stops. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues on diesel engines, as well as providing preventative maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair diesel engine components, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, and suspensions.
  • Assist customers with roadside services and provide preventative maintenance services.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean places with friendly faces.
  • Interact with customers and drivers from all over, making their travels and their day better.
  • Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters and work in various temperatures.
  • Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies and procedures.
  • Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
  • Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's).
