Teacher and Mentor

We are seeking a dedicated Teacher and Mentor to join our team at the Alabama Department of Education. As a key member of our instructional staff, you will be responsible for teaching students and mentoring new teachers.

About the Role:

• This position will teach elementary students and develop lesson plans aligned with state standards.
• The successful candidate will have expertise in elementary education, classroom management, and instructional delivery.
• A proven track record of improving student outcomes and promoting teacher growth is essential.

Responsibilities:

1. Teach elementary students and develop engaging lesson plans.
2. Mentor new teachers to enhance their instructional practices and improve student learning outcomes.
3. Participate in school-wide initiatives to promote student achievement and teacher collaboration.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Elementary Education or related field.
• 2+ years of teaching experience, preferably in elementary education.
• Demonstrated expertise in classroom management, instructional delivery, and student assessment.

Salary: $55,000 - $75,000 per year (dependent on qualifications and experience).
