About the Opportunity
Delaware North Gaming is seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Supervisor to lead our team at Gate City Casino in Nashua, New Hampshire. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service to our guests, leading hourly staff in their daily duties, and effectively prioritizing multiple tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and team members, ensuring the venue is adequately stocked with all products and supplies needed for service and all departmental and organizational policies and procedures are met.
- Assign duties to team members on shift and perform some service tasks.
- Assist managers in team member training and compliance.
- Investigate and resolve service complaints, review procedures operational areas in need of attention, as well as assisting in the management of staffing levels in accordance with budgetary goals and business volume.
- Greet guests positively, professionally, and as an individual, and monitor guests' and team member needs within your assigned area.
Requirements
- Experience working in a restaurant; beneficial to have two years' supervisory experience.
- Self-motivated, superior organization, and guest service abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with customer relation skills.
- No college degree required.
- Previous culinary experience.
- Ability to provide support to kitchen and back-of-house operations.
- Knowledgeable in maintaining service & sanitation guidelines and standards.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to carry up to 35 lbs.
- Standing, walking, bending for the duration of the shift, occasionally pushing and pulling to move equipment, mops, and brooms.
