General Dentist Opportunity

Metro Dentalcare - Eagan is seeking a skilled General Dentist to join our team. As a supported office of Heartland Dental, we offer a unique opportunity for dentists to practice comprehensive dentistry while enjoying the benefits of a Dental Support Organization.

About the Role

We are looking for a dentist with a DDS/DMD degree and an active, unrestricted license in the state of Minnesota. The ideal candidate will have clinical knowledge to practice comprehensive dentistry, including diagnosis and treatment of oral health issues. A desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients is essential.

About Metro Dentalcare - Eagan

Metro Dentalcare - Eagan is a unique office that thrives on collaboration, communication, and community. We have a 25-person team and a mult-doctor office with a FFS/PPO patient base. Our office is located in Eagan, a town southeast of downtown Minneapolis, and offers a great supportive team, robust hygiene department, and 15-chair facility.

Requirements
  • DDS/DMD degree, active and unrestricted license in the state of Minnesota
  • Clinical knowledge to practice comprehensive dentistry, including diagnosis and treatment of oral health issues
  • Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet the needs of patients
  • Ability to become credentialed with dental insurance plans
  • The position will have access to minimum PHI necessary for performing job-related functions; regular HIPAA training, aligning with the specific role and responsibilities, will be required; and the individual will need to protect PHI and maintain data safeguards.
Preferred Qualifications
  • New grad to over a year or more of clinical experience
  • Invisalign Certification is a plus
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
  • Prolonged periods sitting and standing
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
  • Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
