Job Summary

We are seeking an Associate Systems Engineer to join our team in the Payload and Ground Systems Division at Northrop Grumman Space Systems. This role will involve working on the development, design, production, and sustainment of optimized product lines, as well as providing technical expertise to support the warfighter.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply Systems Engineering principles and processes to model systems, subsystems, components, interfaces, and verification paths using Cameo Enterprise Architecture.
  • Develop, manage, and decompose requirements to ensure alignment with program and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete tasks in a timely manner and communicate effectively with varying levels of program, customer, and functional organization leadership.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 0 years of related experience.
  • US Citizenship with ability to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance.
  • Working knowledge of Systems Engineering principles and processes.
  • Experience modeling with Cameo Enterprise Architecture (or comparable tool).
  • Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate to team members, customers, and stakeholders - verbally and through well-written technical documents and presentations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance, granted or re-investigated within the last 6 years or in continuous evaluation.
  • Experience in Interface Control Document development.
  • Experience with Agile Development - Scrum Master experience is a plus.
  • Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite: JIRA, Confluence, etc.
  • Experience developing and applying software scripts/apps to solve practical problems.
  • Experience with technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
What We Offer

Northrop Grumman offers a competitive salary range of $68,800 - $103,200, as well as a discretionary bonus and a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company-paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
