Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized CT imaging procedures, ensuring accurate and high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute CT imaging procedures with precision and attention to detail, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Apply knowledge of CT principles and practices, including anatomy and physiology, radiation safety, and patient positioning.
  • Document patient care activity accurately and efficiently in electronic health records systems.
  • Ensure a safe and appropriate work environment, maintaining supplies and inventory, and reporting equipment-related issues.
  • Participate in departmental and organizational performance improvement initiatives, contributing to workflow optimization and quality enhancement.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree or certificate in radiologic technology from a program accredited by an agency recognized by the US Department of Education or Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
  • One year of experience in CT imaging required.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in Radiography (R) and licensed as a Radiographer in the State of Maryland.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification.
