Lot Porter

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Lot Porter to join our team at Werner Kia in Tallahassee, FL. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the appearance and organization of our dealership lot.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with cars and providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for ensuring that vehicles are properly prepared for display, conducting regular inspections, and maintaining accurate tracking of vehicle keys.

• Vehicle Preparation: Move vehicles to designated display areas on the lot, ensuring an attractive and organized presentation.
• Cleanliness Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of vehicles for cleanliness and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.
• Key Management: Maintain and organize vehicle keys, ensuring accurate tracking and timely retrieval.
• Lot Management: Assist in managing the flow of vehicles in and out of the dealership lot.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales and service teams to ensure timely delivery and pickup of vehicles for customers.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
• Prior experience in automotive detailing or lot management is a plus.
• You must have strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• You should be able to work in various weather conditions, including exposure to heat, cold, and precipitation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate within a team.
• You should be physically able to lift, carry, and move objects up to 50 pounds.

$35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience.
