Position Overview:

The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing compliance with NERC CIP regulations and standards, playing a key role in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and sustain compliance initiatives to align with NERC and PCI standards.
  • Perform routine audits and evaluations to pinpoint compliance deficiencies and propose corrective measures.
  • Work collaboratively with various departments to integrate compliance mandates into operational processes.
  • Stay informed on regulatory updates and adjust compliance programs as necessary.
  • Deliver training and support to personnel regarding NERC and PCI compliance obligations.
  • Compile and submit compliance documentation to regulatory authorities as needed.
  • Serve as the main contact for inquiries related to NERC and PCI compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Educational background in engineering, business, technology, or related fields, complemented by relevant certifications.
  • A minimum of 5-8 years of experience with knowledge in areas such as NERC CIP, ERCOT Protocols, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, SOX, PCI, NACHA, NRC.
  • 1-3 years of direct experience in NERC CIP compliance.
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent reading comprehension and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with security or compliance best practices.
  • Experience with ICS devices, generation, or transmission assets is advantageous.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., PPM, CISM, CISA, CISSP, PE) are a plus.
