Sandwich Artisan

We are seeking a skilled and organized individual to join our kitchen staff as a Sandwich Maker at Penn Station East Coast Subs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing workstations, ingredients, and kitchen equipment to ensure a smooth and efficient food preparation process.

• Maintain a sanitized and well-organized kitchen environment.
• Prepare workstations for assembly and ensure all necessary ingredients are readily available.
• Prepare and maintain kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Check the quality of ingredients and ensure they meet our high standards.
• Prepare sandwich ingredients using various techniques and arrange food for appealing presentation.
• Manage food storage, stock, and ingredient orders to minimize waste and optimize inventory.

To be successful in this role, you must be self-motivated, able to follow sanitation procedures, and demonstrate excellent teamwork and communication skills. Additionally, you must be able to multitask and act quickly in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
