Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Toddler Lead Teacher to lead our toddler program at Ducklings Downingtown West. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality early childhood education.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement daily lesson plans, ensuring alignment with state standards and Ducklings' curriculum.
  • Supervise a primary group of children, managing their daily needs and providing individualized attention and care.
  • Utilize technology, such as Tadpoles, to document daily learning activities, track progress, and engage with parents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive work environment.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience working as a Lead Teacher in a childcare setting, preferably with a CDA credential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Compensation:
  • A competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, dependent on experience, plus up to $1,600 in bonuses annually.
