Innovative Renal Care (IRC) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Home Training Registered Nurse – Peritoneal Dialysis. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in empowering patients to take control of their dialysis treatments at home.
Key Responsibilities- Educate prospective patients on the benefits of home dialysis modalities, including peritoneal dialysis.
- Train patients on their chosen home dialysis modality, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform treatments safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with Nephrologists to develop personalized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Lead educational workshops to keep the team up-to-date on the latest technologies and evidence-based practices in peritoneal dialysis.
- Monitor patients' conditions and lab results to ensure the safe and successful delivery of their chosen modality.
- Provide on-call support to patients, working closely with an answering service to ensure seamless care outside of regular office hours.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse.
- At least 12 months of experience in nursing, with a strong background in peritoneal dialysis.
- Valid Driver's License and current CPR certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex medical information to patients and colleagues.
