Job Title: Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in the west suburbs of Houston, TX. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work with students who require speech and language services, and provide individualized education plans to support their development.

Job Summary:

This is a contract position with Soliant, a leading provider of education staffing solutions. As a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work with students who require speech and language services, and provide individualized education plans to support their development. You will assess students referred for possible speech and language needs, participate in ARD meetings, and provide individual and/or group therapy sessions.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs
  • Participate in ARD meetings to determine student eligibility
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders
  • Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns
  • Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload
  • Provide reports of a student's progress to parents
  • Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school
  • Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
  • Texas Speech-Language Pathology License
