Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at SunCrest OMNI Home Health Tallahassee, a part of LHC Group. As a Speech Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients overcome speech and language disorders, and functional training in communication, swallowing, and cognitive impairments.

Responsibilities:

* Assess and evaluate patient care needs related to treating speech and language disorders
* Develop and implement treatment plans to improve patient well-being
* Provide services within the scope of practice as defined by state laws governing the practice of speech therapy
* Consult with physicians in the development of therapy plans
* Treat patients' speech production, fluency, language, cognition, voice, resonance, swallowing, and auditory habilitation/rehabilitation
* Instruct patients, families, and caregivers in areas of therapy within the scope of speech-language pathology
* Visit patients within the entire service area of their respective agency and other nearby LHC agencies as needed

Requirements:

* Current licensure in Speech Therapy in the state of FL
* Current CPR certification
* Must have a current driver's license and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle
