About the Role:
Cook Children's Health Care System is seeking a skilled Vocational Nurse to join our team in a pediatric care setting. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients and families in a collaborative practice with physician(s) and/or nurse practitioner(s).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide ambulatory nursing care as directed by physician(s) and/or nurse practitioner(s), including patient and family focused assessment, intervention, and education.
- Perform daily clinical duties per established policy and procedure, ensuring skillful and consistent care.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited school of vocational nursing.
- Minimum 1 year pediatric nursing experience in a clinic or office setting, or equivalent experience.
- Current license to practice vocational nursing in the State of Texas.
- Current CPR certification.
