Clinical Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Mental Health Specialist to join our team. This is a rewarding opportunity for a Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) looking to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals in need.
About the Role:
- This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatric assessment, crisis intervention, and medication administration.
- You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide individualized care to patients with complex mental health needs.
- This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Patient CareYou will be responsible for conducting initial assessments of patients to identify psychiatric conditions and developing treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
As a Clinical Mental Health Specialist, you will use verbal and non-verbal communication skills to de-escalate tense situations and manage patients who may be at risk of harming themselves or others.
You will also be responsible for administering prescribed medications to patients and monitoring their response to treatment.
In addition, you will assist in individual and group therapy sessions, reinforcing therapeutic goals and providing emotional support to patients.
Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you must have a valid license as a Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) in the state where the position is located.
A minimum of one year of relevant experience working as an LPT is required.
You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
