Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time Outpatient Psychiatrist with neurological expertise to join our psychiatry program at AdventHealth Orlando. The successful candidate will help treat newly diagnosed neurology patients suffering from a wide array of neurological disorders in an outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients with neurological conditions. They will provide psychotherapy and medication management as appropriate, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and engage in patient education to help individuals manage their mental health effectively.

Requirements

The successful candidate will possess a medical degree and have experience in psychiatry, preferably with a focus on neurological disorders. They will also be required to have a current, valid Florida Medical license, Board Certification, BLS & ACLS, and a DEA License.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday – Friday. The successful candidate will work at AdventHealth Orlando, one of our eleven campuses in Central Florida.
