  • Evaluate staffing requirements and facilitate staff orientation and training programs
  • Analyze and enhance cost-effective quality patient care services
  • Engage in unit evaluations and performance enhancement initiatives
  • Oversee the provision of patient care and the completion of assigned tasks
  • Conduct interviews for potential candidates and provide hiring recommendations
  • Uphold safety, cleanliness, and infection control standards
Qualifications:
  • License/Certification: Valid Virginia RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring certifications
  • Education/Experience: At least five years of nursing experience in Obstetrics, Labor/Delivery, and Nursery care environments
  • Special Skills: Expertise in policy development, staff training, and research methodologies
