Position Summary

Town Country Early Learning Center is seeking dedicated Lead and Assistant Educators to work with children from infancy through before and after school programs. Our mission is to create a nurturing, educational, and secure atmosphere for young learners.

Work Schedule

This role offers a balanced work-life with no weekends or night shifts, as we have a cleaning service that maintains the center nightly.

Responsibilities

As an Infant/Toddler Teacher or Assistant, you will oversee a group of up to 8 children aged 6 weeks to 36 months. Preschool Teachers will supervise up to 10 children aged 3-5 years. Key responsibilities include:

  • Utilizing positive discipline methods to foster independence, self-regulation, and social skills.
  • Encouraging children to develop self-help skills.
  • Maintaining accurate records.
  • Engaging in effective communication with families.
  • Upholding confidentiality standards.
  • Exhibiting professionalism and appropriate conduct.
  • Creating a safe and stimulating learning environment.
  • Designing and implementing educational curricula that align with children's developmental needs.
  • Collecting data on children's growth in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Maintaining necessary certifications including CPR/First Aid and background checks.
  • Demonstrating reliability and punctuality.

Qualifications

Lead Teachers are required to possess an AA or BA in Early Childhood Education or a related discipline. Assistant Teachers must be at least 18 years old and hold a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience with young children is essential, along with three references. Candidates should be dependable, have reliable transportation, and possess a positive demeanor.
