Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned and innovative leader to spearhead our food service operations at Anoka County Jail. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to craft solutions that ensure the well-being and satisfaction of our facility's residents every day.

About the Role

  • As Food Service Site Director, you will lead our dining team, driving operational excellence and innovation in food service management.
  • You will be responsible for managing budgets, controlling costs, and achieving revenue growth while maintaining high-quality services.
  • Your focus on safety, team building, and operational efficiency will drive our success and open new doors for career growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, engage, and develop teams to maximize their contributions, including recruiting, assessing, training, coaching, and managing performance.
  • Coach employees by creating a shared understanding of what needs to be achieved and how to execute, rewarding and recognizing employees for outstanding performance.
  • Develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationships, demonstrating excellent customer service using Aramark's standard model.
  • Identify client needs and effectively communicate operational progress, adopting Aramark processes and systems.
  • Build revenue and manage budget, including cost controls with regard to food, beverage, and labor, ensuring full compliance with Operational Excellence fundamentals, including food and labor.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers, and employees, building and developing supervisory staff to become future leaders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree level education highly preferred in an area of Food Service, Hospitality, Facilities, or Business Management.
  • Meaningful experience in service industry, contract services, or hospitality environment, including managing teams.
  • Strong analytical, project planning, and financial management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, customers, colleagues, and staff.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor's degree level education is highly preferred in an area of Food Service, Hospitality, Facilities, or Business Management.

Salary Estimate

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
