Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems across a range of rental and client equipment, exercising a significant degree of independent judgment.
  • Travel to client job sites for equipment maintenance and repairs as necessary, ensuring that your service vehicle is maintained in a clean and professional condition.
  • Support the development of junior technicians through training and mentorship.
  • Document all work performed accurately and promptly, maintaining both paper and electronic records.
  • Promote and demonstrate a variety of sophisticated equipment to clients.
  • Assist with the logistics of equipment and parts delivery.
  • Undertake additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction machinery and a solid mechanical understanding of various engine types.
  • Advanced ability to interpret schematics and diagrams.
  • Possession of tools relevant to the position.
  • Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Capability to frequently lift items weighing up to 45 lbs.
