Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Progeny Human Resources Solutions, LLC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and diagnostic imaging services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify patients' identity and review physicians' orders before initiating x-ray procedures.
  • Operate x-ray equipment to capture high-quality radiographic images of patients' bones, tissues, and organs as per physicians' written orders.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, explaining x-ray procedures and addressing their questions and concerns.
  • Position patients safely and comfortably, which may involve lifting and repositioning patients with limited mobility.
  • Minimize patients' exposure to radiation by using lead shields where necessary.
  • Ensure that all x-rays taken meet quality standards to prevent unnecessary repeat procedures.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of recent acute care RAD TECH experience.
  • Graduate of an ARRT-accredited program and current ARRT registry required.
  • Current ARRT registry and Florida certification are mandatory.

Compensation Package:

Our competitive compensation package includes a salary range of $20.60 - $27.76 (based on 10 years of experience), increasing to $32.86 (based on 20 years of experience). Additionally, we offer weekend differential pay of $2, on-call pay of $3, a sign-on bonus of $15,000, and relocation assistance on a case-by-case basis.
