Job Title: RN Progressive Care

Corewell Health is seeking a skilled RN Progressive Care professional to join our team at Taylor Hospital. As a member of our Intermediate Care Unit, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a collaborative and dynamic work environment.

About the Role:

The RN Progressive Care will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, working closely with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans. You will also be expected to maintain accurate and timely documentation, communicate effectively with patients and families, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including electronic medical records
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Michigan
  • 1 year of experience in a critical care or intermediate care setting
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
