High-Risk NICU Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatology Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Howard-Sloan Search, Inc. in the Phoenix area.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will provide comprehensive care to high-risk infants in Level III-IV NICUs, working collaboratively with Neonatologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to high-risk infants in Level III-IV NICUs, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with Neonatologists to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.
- Conduct daily rounds and provide ongoing evaluation and management of patients' conditions.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to discuss patient care and develop strategies for improving outcomes.
- Document all patient interactions and care provided in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- NNP Board Certification required; FNP, PNP, or other NP certifications not accepted.
- At least 2 years of experience as an NNP preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare providers and families.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

The NNPs work closely with Neonatologists in the Level III-IV NICUs, providing comprehensive care to high-risk infants. The role also involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.
The NNPs work a combination of 12 and 24-hour shifts, which can be varied to suit one's needs as well as the unit/team. The responsibility for attendance at delivery is shared with the Neonatologists.
