Job Overview

Position Summary:

Visium Resources is seeking skilled candidates for the role of Manufacturing Engineering Specialist. This position is a direct hire opportunity and is expected to be conducted on-site.


Role Responsibilities:

The Manufacturing Engineering Specialist will engage in conducting tests and experiments on standard products as well as engineering samples and research and development items. The role involves collaboration with production testing and manufacturing equipment to enhance throughput, yield, and overall efficiency.


Key Duties Include:

  • Executing tests and experiments on products for research and development initiatives.
  • Carrying out engineering tasks that may involve the assembly of products and related manufacturing items.
  • Conducting tests and experiments on products to improve production testing and manufacturing equipment.
  • Validating procedures and documentation, assisting in the drafting and modification of necessary documentation.
  • Monitoring production downtime and other challenges related to production testing equipment, proposing methods for enhancements, including preventative maintenance schedules and other adjustments.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with network analyzers, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, spectrum analyzers, and the scientific method is advantageous.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with effective use of mechanical tools and equipment.
  • Proficiency in various software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent documentation skills with a precise ability to follow instructions.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
  • Good interpersonal skills.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • An Associate degree in engineering coupled with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.


Note: Must be capable of working with ITAR data without licensing.
