About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a part-time member of our care team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents while developing your skills and expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in long-term care facilities and be certified as a Nursing Assistant in the State of Wisconsin. A high school diploma or equivalent is also required. Additionally, the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively is essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
This role involves assisting residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, serving meals, and ambulating. You will also take vital signs, examine clients for bruises, blood in urine or other injuries/wounds, collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors, and family members, provide and empty bedpans, lift clients into beds, wheelchairs, exam tables, etc., clean and sanitize client areas, including changing bed sheets, and stay up-to-date on CNA training, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customer, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to record data accurately and timely (e.g. % eaten, I&O). Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Must possess or be eligible to receive certification as a Nursing Assistant in the State of Wisconsin for Long Term care facilities.
