House Supervisor Role at Charlotte Health & Rehabilitation Center

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced House Supervisor to join our nursing team at Charlotte Health & Rehabilitation Center, a 90-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center.

About the Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed RN or LPN with a minimum of 3 years of experience as a nurse and experience in an acute setting. As a House Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing department in the DON's absence, reviewing staffing at shift change, and assigning staff to meet patient care needs.

You will also complete patient care rounds, coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges, and ensure appropriate documentation. Additionally, you will assist in the orientation of evening and night shift employees and supervise and evaluate their performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the nursing department in the DON's absence
  • Review staffing at shift change and assign staff to meet patient care needs
  • Complete patient care rounds
  • Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges
  • Ensure appropriate documentation
  • Assist in the orientation of evening and night shift employees
  • Supervise and evaluate evening and night shift employees' performance
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a valid RN or LPN license and a minimum of 3 years of experience as a nurse in an acute setting. You should also possess strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
