Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of food preparation areas, including equipment and surfaces, to uphold safe and sanitary food-handling practices.
  • Monitor the freshness of food and ingredients by assessing quality, managing inventory, and rotating stock appropriately.
  • Ensure proper food storage and cooking temperatures by regulating ovens, grills, and other cooking equipment.
  • Season and prepare dishes according to established recipes or personal expertise.
  • Stir or turn food items to guarantee even cooking.
  • Address guest feedback with promptness and professionalism.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience as a cook in a restaurant setting is preferred.
  • Possession of ServeSafe or Food Handler's certification is required (or willingness to obtain).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Capability to lift weights exceeding 30 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, exceeding 8 hours.
